We believe that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. He is the perfect and exact revelation of God to mankind and is the only door to Heaven and Savior of sinful men.
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is the only trustworthy guide to salvation and the Christian lifestyle.
We believe that salvation comes from faith in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. Salvation is a free gift of God to men and can only be received on the basis of grace alone. No good works of men are necessary for salvation or could be added to the complete and eternal sacrifice of Christ.
We believe that the Lord has given the church two sacraments — baptism and Communion (the Lord’s supper). Both church ordinances are teaching tools that point to and remind us of the value, uniqueness, and importance of Christ’s death on the cross. Baptism celebrates our once and for all union with Christ into His death and resurrection. Communion celebrates the importance of His sacrifice in regard to our continuing fellowship with God. We ask that all believers demonstrate their love for Christ by obeying Him in regard to believer’s baptism. We celebrate Communion with all attending believers quarterly and on certain special holidays.
